Functional nutrition is a holistic way of looking at the body and how everything we put in (and on!) our bodies affects us individually. Each of us are unique and therefore one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to our health.
A bioindividual approach aims to deep dive into each client’s life, circumstances and stressors to optimize health for their specific needs and situation. Whether it be suggestions to your diet, or your lifestyle, protocols are developed for you.
Is it for you?
So many of us live day in and day out with nagging symptoms that are just seen as “common”:
irregular digestion
feeling shaky before meals
fatigue or that afternoon crash
brain fog
headaches
trouble sleeping
achy joints
PMS symptoms
anxiety and mood disorders
and so much more
These may be common, but are 100% not normal. Your body can and should be able to bring itself back to balance for the most part, and before you continue to live with the metaphoric small, but very impactful, drip, drip, drip of the kitchen sink, wouldn’t it be amazing to just eliminate the cause of the leak?
What we do together
It’s simplest to view an FNTP as a partner in your health. Together, we dive deep into your medical history, your current diet, all of your current symptoms, your life stressors, your habits, your movement routines, and more.
Through this thorough process, I’m able to evaluate areas of systems of the body that need more support, imbalances, nutrient and mineral deficiencies, and get incredibly granular on the root cause of your symptoms. Instead of just focusing on the what (ie headaches) and suggesting changes, we work to discover the why and to help your body re-balance.
If you want to begin working on your health goals, while uncovering the root cause of many of your symptoms, and learning to truly understand your body, let’s chat.
